Upon arrival to the home setting, appeared to be in a positive mood evident by her facial expressions such as a smile on the face. Kaila did not present any symptoms of S/I or H/I at the time of the session. QMHP-A begin session by inquiring about Kaila's emotional well-being. QMHP-A processed with Kaila about her health changes and things she needs to document. QMHP-A taught Kaila that her feelings and emotions can affect her mood. QMHP-A reiterated to the Kaila that it is important to practice using coping in order to assist with dealing with feelings and emotions. QMHP-A engaged Kaila in a discussion to verbalize feelings and emotions she would have during different situations. QMHP-A assisted Kaila in brainstorming different coping skills Kaila would utilize when dealing with feelings and emotions. QMHP-A asked Kaila how she knows if her coping skills are effective, what signs she would look for.) QMHP-A verbalized to Kaila that there are many internal and external methods for coping with anger. Kaila was receptive to feedback and information provided QMHP-A. While exploring Kailaâs current emotional well-being, she verbalized to QMHP-A, she was in a positive mood. Kaila discussed with QMHP-A she continues struggle with being able to control her anger when she is upset. She discussed with QMHP-A, âI do not have time for ignorance when I have a good heart and I am trying to do everything possible to keep me from not reverting back to the person I use to beâ. Kaila discussed with QMHP-A she has been trying to implement the learned coping skills taught to her during sessions to prevent depression and other symptoms of anxiety.
